Posted by Kinsale Newsletter on Friday 25 July 2014

Congratulations to Conor O’Callaghan of Abbeylands, Kinsale, son of Con and Liz O'Callaghan, who has been chosen to represent his country as a proud member of the Irish Team competing in the Table Tennis category in the 10th IWAS World Junior Games. The games take place in Stoke Mandeville, England, from 3rd August 2014.

This is Conor's first appearance in an Irish vest. Conor is one of 250 athletes from 25 countries competing in these games. It's a proud moment for himself and his family.
No doubt this will be the first of many International competitions for Conor, just 13 years old and good enough to compete in the U23 section!  Well done Conor. We'll all be rooting for you in Kinsale!
