The Kinsale AFC Underage awards were held on the 1st Dec in the Folkhouse. This was to present the awards for best player and the most improved player for the 2012-2013 season. Awards were presented by their respective coaches to boys and girls ranging from 6 to 16 years old.  It was a great success with food and music afterwards. We want to thank the Committee for organising the awards day and the coaches for all the hard work they put in every week coaching our children.
 
Also on the same day the Robin van Persie autographed and framed jersey draw took place. This draw was primarily in aid of the Academy section of the club (6-10 years old) who train every Saturday morning in the Saile all weather facility. The jersey was formally presented to the club by Derek Nash and his son AJ at the awards day. Derek utilised his contacts with the Manchester United coaching staff to obtain this great prize and the club are very grateful to him. The jersey was won by Mortimer Barry from Midleton. Over €2,000 was raised on this draw and the club would like to give a special thanks to Judy Donegan, Margaret Murphy, Trina O’Neill and Derek Nash for all their fundraising endeavours. Finally Kinsale AFC Underage would like to wish all the families, players and coaches of the club a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
