This Sunday marks the launch of Kinsale as Wedding Capital of Ireland, an initiative between the five main wedding venues in Kinsale: Actons, Ballinacurra House, Blue Haven, MacDonald Hotel and the Trident. Together with the Kinsale Chamber of Tourism and Business these venues have joined forces to position the town as the go-to place for weddings with a difference.
The official launch will take place on Sunday, 17 July from 2-6 pm – with each venue hosting their own individual Open Days – under the Wedding Capital banner.
“Kinsale as we know is one of the most special places in Ireland and the place to make your wedding vows , because its steeped in History, Fun and Food ,” said Tomas O’Brien, Chairman of Kinsale Chamber of Tourism and Business.
“The positioning of the town as the Wedding Capital and all that it has to offer, is a great initiative along with the start of the Wild Atlantic Way, a busy year round time table of events, a booming restaurant business and the fact that our heritage town has something unique to offer everyone.”
