League & Championship double for Kinsale GAA Girls U14 footballers

The County Championship Final: Kinsale v Bishopstown took place at Redmonds pitch near Cork Airport on Saturday 16th June.
With weather conditions playing a major role and the dominance of the Kinsale half back line, where Kelly Marie Crowley and Tracy Mc Carthy played their hearts out on the wings, resulted in all the play and scores in favour of Kinsale at the end of the first half with a 3-4 to 0-0 scoreline.
 It took Bishopstown some time at the beginning of the 2nd half to find their form and play the advantage that was on offer  from the elements. In this time period Kinsale were lucky to push their advantage by another 1goal and 1 point.
When referee Ian O Brien from Middleton blew his whistle the score read Kinsale 4-5 Bishopstown 3-4. Team captain Emma O Brien was presented with the trophy from PRO of Cumann Peil Gael na mBan, Corcai.
