Successful season for Kinsale Ladies GAA!
Posted by Kinsale Newsletter on Wednesday 6 March 2013

Kinsale Ladies had a very successful 2012 and this was clearly evident in the Carlton hotel recently with all the silverware on show.
Kinsale U12s, U14s and U16s won the West Cork championship. The U14s managed to do the double and also won the County final. The U16s also reached the County final but were unlucky to lose to a fine Bandon team.
Kinsale’s Orla Finn presented the girls with their medals and brought the Brendan Martin cup with her which she won with Cork last September. She was congratulated for her success with Cork and the fact that she has already won two all Ireland medals. Georgia Gould, U12, was awarded Underage player of the year as she played with each group and in turn won four medals in 2012.
Kinsale Ladies have resumed training for 2012. If you are interested in playing with the club, come along to training in Kinsale GAA pitch on Mondays from 4.30-5.30 where girls between the ages of 6 and 14 train weekly. We also have  a junior team that trains on Fridays 6-7. Come along and give it a go!
