The Big Departure - From Kinsale to Kolkata

The Hope Foundation invites you to join them for a farewell party to wave goodbye to three courageous souls from West Cork; Joe Claydon, Will Gander and Sam Edstrom, as they set off from Kinsale on Saturday March 30th on a 10,000km charity cycle to India.
The gruelling 10,000km expedition will take the 3 adventurers across over 14 countries, including Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
They hope the trip will help raise awareness and funds for The Hope Foundation, a Cork based charity working with street and slum children in Kolkata.
Once they reach India, their final destination, they plan on spending a few months volunteering with some of Kolkata’s 250,000 street children, in HOPE’s Education centres and Protection homes.
The boys will be saying farewell to friends, family and well wishers in the Blue Haven Hotel in Kinsale from 11am-12pm on Saturday March 30th, before they set off to the ferry in Ringaskiddy which will bring them across to France, the first country on their adventure. All are welcome to join in the fun!
