Fleadh Cheoil Chorcai to take place in Kinsale in April

Plans are well underway for the hosting of the Cork County Fleadh Cheoil which will take place in Kinsale on April 21st, 22nd and 23rd. CCE Béal Átha an Spidéil are currently planning a programme of interesting and entertaining events and this information will be available shortly. These events will include street entertainment, live traditional music in bars over the weekend, céilithe along with competitions which will be held on Saturday and Sunday. The branch look forward to seeing you all in Kinsale in April to enjoy what promises to be a great weekend.
The official launch of Fleadh Cheoil Chorcaí takes place on Sunday February 12th at 7pm in Actons Hotel Kinsale. The branch is proud to announce that the branch orchestra will perform under the guidance of Conductor Tara McCarthy at this very special event.
2017 is a very significant year for Comhaltas in Béal Átha an Spidéil as it celebrates its fifteenth anniversary. The branch was founded on the 25th of March 2002. From humble beginnings, it has grown from strength to strength and now boasts an ever increasing membership of both adults and children. The branch has always been very active. Since its foundation, it has strived to promote the aims and objectives of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann. Craobh Mary O’Sullivan is honoured to host the County Fleadh Cheoil in Kinsale in April.
