Great fun was had at the switching on of the Christmas Lights in Kinsale this evening! Santa & Mrs Claus arrived by fire engine to the delight of the many children there and Santa helped Tomas O'Brien, Chairman of Kinsale Chamber of Tourism, officially switch on the lights. A disco was held after in Actons Hotel, with DJ Dennis Collins kindly doing the honours. It was a very special evening for the Murphy family as the star gracing the top of the Mast was dedicated to Eileen, much-loved & much-missed member of our community.
Well done and huge thanks to the Kinsale Christmas Committee who have done a wonderful job ensuring that Kinsale looks stunning this Christmas.
