Due to the ongoing situation with Covid19 and the extension of the Level 5 restrictions until at least April 5th, it is with regret that the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Kinsale will not go ahead this year.
However the Kinsale St. Patrick’s Day committee, which cannot decorate the town as usual in order to adhere to the current guidelines, would love if homes and businesses throughout the town would decorate their shop windows, gardens, estates, etc., to mark our National Holiday. Post photos of you and your decorated premises/home on social media using the hashtag #KinsaleStPatricksDay tag us @KinsaleStPatricksDayParades on Insta and FB, @kinsaleparades on Twitter, and we will share with the world!
Prizes for Best Dressed Shop Window (1st, 2nd and 3rd) and Best Dressed Home (1st, 2nd and 3rd) will be chosen from the photos. So get busy decorating and Go Green for St. Patrick’s Day in Kinsale.
