Kinsale Welcomes Former 5,000m World Champion Eamonn Coghlan

Former 5,000m World Champion, Eamonn Coghlan visits the Carmelite Centre in Kinsale at 8pm on Monday 22nd October, to share his story and discuss the importance of sport.
 
Admission is free and all are welcome to come and be inspired by three time Olympian Eamonn, who is known as the "Chairman of the Boards" for his unprecedented successes on the American indoor athletics circuit, winning 56 races on the trot.
 
Eamonn, who was the first man to run a sub four minute mile, is currently Chairman of the High Performance Committee in the Irish Sports Council and currently coaches a number of Ireland's leading middle distance athletes with aspirations to represent Ireland in the London Olympic Games; so this talk is sure to be of interest to athletes of all levels and aspirations.
