Macroom Food Festival Win
Congratulations to Niamh O'Sullivan and Niamh McCarthy who recently won 2nd place in a cooking competition at the Macroom Food Festival Inter-Schools Competition. The students faced a lot of competition from six schools all over Cork including Mitchelstown, Mallow, Macroom and Dunmanway. Well done to both students and their teacher Ms Barrett.

Fergus Finlay
Kinsale Community School students were delighted with a visit from guest speaker Fergus Finlay, Chief Executive of Barnardos, childrens charity on Thursday 1st October. It was a very informative and eye-opening experience for our Transition Year students who learned about the important work being done by the charity in order to improve the rights of children in Ireland. A big thank you to Padraig Fitzgerald and Kinsale Peace Project for giving us the opportunity to hear such a wonderful and inspiring speaker.
