Spooky Spin in Kinsale this Hallowe'en
Posted by Kinsale Newsletter on Thursday 29 October 2020

Following on from their wonderful Easter Parade featuring the Easter Bunny as special guest, Kinsale Vintage & Classic Car Club have joined forces with Kinsale Chamber of Tourism and Business to ensure that Hallowe’en is not cancelled for the children of Kinsale & Belgooly!
On Saturday 31st October, the spookiest day of the year, the ghouls, ghosts and witches of Kinsale Vintage & Classic Car Club will take to their haunted brooms (aka vintage and classic cars!) and weave through the estates and streets of scary Kinsale. Ghosts, goblins, wizards, vampires, witches, fairies, devils and all the rest are invited to stand at their front doors and wave and cheer at the parade. Let’s hope that they don’t cast any spells though!!
The Spooky Spin will start at Haven Hill at the haunted hour of 2.30pm before heading down through Summercove Village, they will then go on to scare the residents of Fort View, Ringcurran, Ardbrack and Scilly, before flying up the Eastern Road to go to Meadowlands, Cluain Ard, Mansfield Park, and so on all around the streets and estates of Kinsale before they dare to go to Belgooly. Details are on Facebook but don’t worry, they will find you all!
Mummy and daddy ghosts and ghouls are asked not to drive along behind the parade and everyone is asked to be mindful of social distancing and adhering to all the guidelines so that everybody can stay scarily safe and well.
Huge thanks to the Kinsale Vintage and Classic Car Club and the Chamber for organising this scare at Hallowe’en
Happy Hallowe’en!
