Congratulations to Kinsale man John Murphy who has just won again for Louisville University in Puerto Rico.

In a rain interrupted tournament John, who is in his senior year in The University of Louisville, Kentucky, led the Louisville College students to a win in the TPC Dorado Beach Collegiate Tournament, where he finished in joint first position, his second win in 4 Collegiate outings.

Louisville had a seven shot lead ahead of Kansas University and John led the scoring with an impressive -7 on his card which had a round of 65 on the par 72 - 7,112 yard course. This included nine birdies and two bogeys.

John’s previous win this season was in October at the Bearcat Collegiate Invitational at Coldstream Country Club, Cincinnati, Ohio where he shot a four round total of -19.

Next tournament for John and his teammates is the General Hackler tournament in Dunnes G.C, Myrtle Beach, on Monday March 9th.
