On May 15th, Words by Water/Kinsale Literary Festival is thrilled to be once again hosting Heartbreak Productions, who will be performing Awful Auntie, a play based on the book by David Walliams. This year the performance is taking place in the hall at Sáile, so no need to worry about rain dampening spirits on the day! The performance is suitable for ages 7+, who can look forward to a truly thrilling tale.

Owls, ghosts, chases, escapes, motorcycle rides, and tiddlywinks all fill Stella’s days as she evades her menacing Aunt and saves the family home.

Make sure you bring rugs or cushions to sit on, and a picnic, as the tale could take some time to tell, and storytelling can be hungry work!

Family Tickets (2 adults and 2 children) cost €50, Adult ticket €18, Child ticket €12.
