An Taoiseach Enda Kenny visited Kinsale on a whistlestop tour last Friday afternoon following his visit to Cork city. Fine Gael TDs Noel Harrington and Jim Daly, County Councillors Kevin Murphy and Tim Lombard and former town councillors including Dermot Collins and Fred Treacy joined a good crowd who turned up to hear him speak. Apart from one or two hecklers he received a generally favourable response during his address to the crowd. He followed this with a visit to local shops; Murphy's Grocers, O'Connor's Pharmacy, Daisychain and the Blue Haven.
