Gardaí in Kinsale wish to seek the public’s assistance in relation to a serious assault that occurred on the 29th of January, 2013 at approximately 10.30pm on Compass Quay, Kinsale, Cork.

An 18 year old woman sustained injuries as a result of the assault. She was taken to Cork University Hospital where she received treatment.

Gardaí wish to appeal for witnesses who may have been in the area of Compass Quay between 9.30pm and 10.30pm and who may have seen anything unusual or suspicious or anyone who can assist them with the investigation to contact:
