KCS Qualify for Junk Kouture Regional Finals
Posted by Kinsale Newsletter on Monday 11 February 2019

Congratulations to transition year students Paulina Matacinskaite, Rosie Deasy and Eimear Dwyer for qualifying for the Junk Kouture South Regional Finals. Their entry “Death by Cake” is inspired by Marie Antoinette and is made from cupcake cases, rubber gloves, hula hoops, book covers and maps of France. An online vote will count towards the groups final scores in the competition so watch this space for information on how to vote in the next few weeks!
This a very competitive competition and commiserations to the groups from KCS that did not qualify. A lifeline vote occurring from February 11th - 15th will give these groups the opportunity to qualify into the competition but we need your help! Keep a close eye on the KCS Art Twitter page and Junk Kouture Facebook page on how to vote for these groups.
Well done again to Paulina, Rosie and Eimear and their teacher Ms Deirdre Kelly!
