Kinsale and District Awards announce the winners!
 
The inaugural Kinsale & District Community Awards Cermony will take place in Actons Hotel tomorrow night, Friday 11th April at 7.30 pm.
This event is to acknowledge the efforts of person and/or groups in the local community that make it a better place. It is aimed at the local unsung heroes, who through their voluntary actions enhance the area.
The Kinsale & District Community Awards is the brainchild of James O'Mahony and Tomás O'Brien who gathered a fantastic committee in Claire Nash, Catherine Murphy, Charles Henderson, Alice De La Cour, Joan FitzGerald and the late Denis Healy. Sponsorship to hold the event has generously come from both Kinsale & District Credit Union and Lilly, for which the committee is very grateful.
Tickets are on sale the Boathouse Gallery for anyone deciding to go last minute, food will be served followed by entertainment. It is guaranteed to be a great night!
