Kinsale Lions Club annual Cycle Challenge takes place on Saturday 23rd April next. Two scenic routes have been chosen again this year. Heroes can take the scenic route from Kinsale to Clonakilty via Ballinspittle and Timoleague, just a short spin of 70Kms! Meanwhile Super Heroes can take a longer 100km journey via the Old Head, Courtmacsherry and the Seven Heads, lunching in Clonakilty, before returning home again.
Cyclists meet at Kinsale Community School at 10am and the route will be fully marshalled.
Kinsale and District Lions’ Club supports CUH Sick Children's Club, Youth Counselling, Meals on Wheels, Suicide Prevention, Men's Sheds, Street Children, Community Defibrillator, School Bursary, and is totally voluntary with all monies raised going directly to the charitable causes. No administration costs are ever diverted away from this.
