Kinsale Voices Concert for KYSS
Posted by Kinsale Newsletter on Tuesday 6 September 2022

Kinsale Voices held a concert in May 2022 after a break of two years. In the past, the venue of choice has been St. Multose Church and once again Rev. Peter Rutherford welcomed Kinsale Voices for a performance in this beautiful church.
The Choir was joined by the Dublin Welsh Male Voice Choir who added their own favourite songs.
The chosen charity for the retiring collection was Kinsale Youth Support Services (KYSS) and Kinsale Voices were delighted to raise €751 which will go directly to help children and families who need assistance.
The Rev. Peter Rutherford had great pleasure in presenting the cheque to Ger Rice who is a KYSS Health Support Worker. Three members of Kinsale Voices Choir were present.
KYSS are now in their new premises in Market Lane and it is easily recognised by the newly painted white exterior, blue door and yellow window sills. They will be introducing some new projects to the services they currently provide.
All singers are welcome to join Kinsale Voices who practise on a Monday evening from 7.30pm to 9.00pm at Madden Park. The new term starts on 12th September. @kinsalevoices gives further information.
Kinsale Voices would like to thank Rev. Peter Rutherford, Music Director, Patrick D’Alton and the Music Director for the Dublin Welsh Male Voice Choir, Mary Walsh for making this special concert a reality.

Stephanie Twomey, Ann Boyd, Rev. Peter Rutherford, Ger Rice, Carol McNamara and her daughter Anna.
