Huge congratulations to 13 year old Kinsale girl, Emma Travers, who has been selected for the Irish Junior Tetrathlon Squad. Emma will represent Ireland at the international competition taking place in Morton Morrell, UK, this coming June.
Tetrathlon is a 4-phase event which encompasses swimming, running, air pistol shooting and cross country horseriding.
Emma made significant sacrifices to make space for training, showing dedication, discipline and commitment to Tetrathlon over the last year. She is a lucky girl to be so well supported by her friends, family and coaches.
We are extremely proud of Emma in Kinsale and no doubt her mum and dad, Susie and Ian, and little brother Darragh, are the most proud of all!
