Lordan's Cycle for Kinsale Community Hospital
Posted by Kinsale Newsletter on Friday 28 August 2015

Well done to Patrick and Roesia Lordan who are powering through their challenge to cycle 1000km to raise €10,000 for a dementia-friendly garden at Kinsale Community Hospital.
On the August bank holiday weekend Roesia and Patrick went to London and completed 160km each on the Prudential Ride London Cycle, cycling through the streets of London and the hills of Surrey.

Then on August 23rd Roesia and Patrick took part in the Sean Kelly Tour of Waterford Cycle accompanied by their teenage daughter Alex. Alex and Roesia completed the 50km route and Patrick the 100km route.

Their next cycle is on September 6th when Roesia and Alex will participate in the MSL Cork Women's Leisure Cycle, completing 50km each.

The Lordans, who are undertaking this challenge in memory of Patrick's parents, Bernie and Patricia, are thrilled with their response to the 1000km for Kinsale Community Hospital.
Between Patrick, Roesia and Alex, they have already cycled 1000km but plan to cycle further and have nearly raised €3000.

Please support them on their journey to raise €10,000 for Kinsale Community Hospital, a facility that has provided such wonderful care and kindness to generations of families in Kinsale.
